Cliff and his twin sister, Universe Kamwi, are thriving leaners at Pure Nard Preschool in Zambia. The three-year old twins are in the 2024 Baby class. The first few weeks of school are always a challenge for baby class. Both Cliff and Universe are still adjusting to school life. Cliff and Universe’s mother, Cleopatra, is a young dedicated mom, determined to provide a better future for her children through education. Cleopatra's story is similar to that of many other Zambian girls who dropped out of high school due to teenage pregnancy. However, Cleopatra's story does not end there. Despite dropping out of school and becoming a teenage mom, Cleopatra is determined to complete her education in order to support her children. She is currently working on finishing 12th grade. Cleopatra lives with her brother-in-law, Sitema, who works at a nearby fish farm, and her sister, Ruth, a vegetable vendor. Cleopatra faces challenges as she manages her responsibilities of being a mother and a student, but she ensures that Cliff and Universe are taken to school every day before rushing home to prepare for her own studies.
